Costa Mesa skateboarders will soon get a long-awaited skate park at Lions Park. But before that happens, they can tell city officials just how many rails they need for grinding and ramps they want for tricks such as “ollies.”

The city and the Costa Mesa Advisory Committee of Teens will hold a meeting at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Neighborhood Community Center at 1845 Park Ave. The public will have the opportunity to give its input on the park’s design. Information: (714) 754-5300.
