GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP

In the Academy League:

Connelly 66, St. Margaret’s 61--Ruth Lazzari’s 24 points and 17 rebounds led second-place Connelly (13-5, 10-2). Monique Kettler scored 29 points for third-place St. Margaret’s (9-12, 6-6).

In the Century League:

No. 8 Foothill 63, Orange 28--Chavaughn Brown scored 17 points and Kristen Mann added 14 to lead Foothill (23-3, 10-0). Randi Perry scored 13 for Orange (10-16, 1-9).

In the Freeway league:

La Habra 49, Fullerton 44--Diana Fukushima and Ranay Dato each scored 14 points for La Habra (12-14, 5-5). Julie Blied scored 14 for Fullerton (9-14, 3-7).

Sunny Hills 52, Buena Park 45--Shannon Lewis scored 13 points for Sunny Hills (11-14, 4-6). Veena Hambrick scored 18 for Buena Park (3-20, 0-10).

In the Golden West League:

No. 10 Westminster 72, Tustin 48--Amie Otken scored 16 and Erin Arganda 14 as Westminster (21-5, 9-1) earned a share of the league title with Rosary. Brook Brown had 18 points for third-place Tustin (14-11, 6-4).
