UCI Professor Earns Info Technology Title

Kenneth L. Kraemer, a professor of management and computer science at the UC Irvine Graduate School of Management, was named the Taco Bell chair in information technology management.

Kraemer is director of UCI’s Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations, which is funded by the National Science Foundation. It focuses on the social and economic effects of information technology on organizations and consumers.

Kraemer joined UCI’s management school in 1967 and holds professorships in the business school and the computer and information science department. He recently co-authored a book, “Asia’s Computer Challenge: Threat of Opportunity for the United States and the World.”
