21 Glass Panes Fall on Worker, Killing Him

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. —
A worker unloading 6-foot sheets of glass at a construction site was killed when 21 panes came loose and fell on him, authorities said. Lance Cawley, 35, died Monday.
“He was alone on the truck loosening the panes when they fell,” said Dena Peterson, a police spokeswoman for the West Palm Beach police. The panes weighed 50 pounds each.
