Seminar on Community Living

“The ABCs for Community Associations,” a daylong workshop for association leaders and homeowners, will be presented Saturday by the Greater L.A. chapter of Community Assns. Institute.

The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 6161 Centinela Ave., Culver City. Lunch is included in the registration of $130. To register, call (310) 859-4676.

Topics to be covered are an overview of common-interest communities, approaches to problem solving, maintenance, rule enforcement, finances and board meetings.

Workshop participants also will receive the ABCs Handbook, a 200-page manual that includes sample forms and documents, discussion questions and helpful hints.
