UCI Men Third at Swim Meet

Dan Klatt helped the UC Irvine men’s swimming team win two races and finish third in the team standings at the UCI Relay Invitational Sunday at Heritage Park.

Klatt anchored the men’s 200 freestyle relay team, which won in 1 minute 27.42 seconds, the fastest time this season for Irvine. He also anchored the 400 freestyle relay team, which won in 3:14.69.

Denver won with 121 points, edging UC San Diego by one point. Irvine finished third with 72 points.

Fresno State won the women’s competition with 152 points, followed by San Diego State with 76. Irvine was fifth with 42 points.
