If one wonders why some see a liberal bias in the media, look no further than the Food section Nov. 22. Kenneth Starr could not escape vilification even in a discussion of vegetarian meal alternatives. Describing a zealous vegetarian as “the Ken Starr of vegetarianism: determined, fervent, sanctimonious,” Ms. Ferreira neglected to include an appropriate counterpoint. Someone who eats steak should be called a “Bill Clinton vegetarian.” After all, meat is just reprocessed grass and grain.
