KYPA-AM (1230) is not 10,000 watts (“Radio Korea Lands a New Spot on the Dial,” by Kevin Baxter, Dec. 25), but its 1,000-watt day and night nondirectional signal should be quite readable in Glendale and the San Gabriel Valley now that 1220 and 1240 are off the air in Pomona and Pasadena, respectively.
