Death Toll Rises in Bali Landslide

The death toll from a landslide on the island of Bali rose to 33 after rescuers pulled six more bodies from piles of muddy earth. At least six other villagers were still missing after the landslide Thursday in Pupuan, 530 miles east of Jakarta. The disaster occurred when tons of earth, loosened by heavy rain, slid down a hillside and buried workers at an irrigation canal.
