The city is stepping up its code enforcement and asking citizens for help in reporting problems, Assistant City Manager Tami Piscotty said. The city wants residents who know of a code enforcement problem--such as a home with broken windows, trash and broken furniture in the yard or landscaping that obstructs sidewalks--to fill out the form found in the city newsletter and mail it to City Hall. The newsletter is mailed to every home and business in La Palma, but copies also are available by contacting City Hall at (714) 523-7700.
