The Chamber of Commerce is selling tickets for the “State of the City” luncheon on Jan. 28. Mayor Joanne Coontz annually summarizes the city’s achievements, looks to the year ahead, and recognizes residents and businesses whose community work stands out.

This year, Scott Parker, owner of the vintage Watson Drug and Soda Fountain, will receive the Citizen of the Year award.

The lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Doubletree Hotel, 100 The City Drive. Tickets cost $35 and usually sell out quickly. Information: (714) 538-3581.
