A project scheduled for this month to add slurry seal to more than 40 streets throughout the western and central part of the city has been delayed until April because of temperature concerns. The rubberized slurry seal, which preserves the street surface, should be applied when the outdoor temperatures is between 60 and 100 degrees, Public Works Director Ismile Noorbaksh said. The contractor is American Asphalt Repair and Resurfacing Co.
