Got a Piece of Hidden History?

Share

If your walls are talking, Home and Garden Television is listening.

HGTV is looking for homeowners to profile for its show “If Walls Could Talk.” They’re interested in hearing from homeowners who have found something of historical interest in their homes during renovation.

In the past, they’ve done stories on people who have found a cannonball in the wall, 18th century forks under the floorboards, murals under wallpaper, hidden staircases and secret rooms. Your find can be as tiny as an antique button or as big as a copy of the Declaration of Independence.

The HGTV production team will be in Los Angeles the week of Feb. 8. The show requires a one-day time commitment. Homes must be privately owned or bed and breakfasts where the homeowner lives in the home. No museums.
