The city’s Recreation Department is accepting team registrations through Friday for its mini-season adult softball slow pitch league. The men’s leagues play mornings and evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Coed leagues play evenings on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Teams are not required to have their rosters filled until the managers’ meeting Jan. 27. The department allows a maximum of 16 players per team. The cost for the five-game series, which begins the week of Feb. 4, is $200 per team. Team managers must register in person at the department, 8150 Knott Ave. Information: (714) 562-3844.
