Alyn Corp.: The Irvine producer of industrial materials said it lost $2.8 million, or 25 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $3 million, or 28 cents a share, for the corresponding period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $604,000 from $32,000. For the year, the company recorded a net loss of $12.1 million, or $1.11 a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $7.3 million, or 68 cents a share. Revenue totaled $1.3 million, up from $364,000.
