Abbott Labs to Market Gensia Sicor Products

Gensia Sicor Inc. said its Gensia Sicor Pharmaceuticals Inc. subsidiary has signed a long-term agreement for Abbott Laboratories to handle the marketing and distribution of Gensia Sicor’s portfolio of oncology products throughout the United States.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Irvine-based Gensia Sicor develops and markets pharmaceuticals and has operations in the United States, Italy and Mexico. The company’s stock closed Friday at $5.31, up 13 cents.
