Another Tale of a Disappearing Auto

Share

“Finder of Lost Cars” (by Robin Tolkan, So SoCal, Dec. 20) brought to mind what happened to me in the same Century City parking structure four years ago. I’d been a frequent shopper there and never “lost” my car before, but this was my first visit since the garage was remodeled.

I, too, went through the panic of thinking my car had been stolen. It was nighttime, and I was carrying several heavy bags of merchandise that were on the verge of breaking. I went from floor to floor looking for the car or for someone to assist me.

Perhaps the mall’s owners are unaware that there’s a design problem that needs to be rectified.

I never again returned to shop there.
