Irvine Sensors Secures Equity Financing

Irvine Sensors Corp. secured $5.6 million in equity financing in a private placement that involved the sale of 4 million unregistered shares of common stock to investors, the Costa Mesa company said Thursday.
An unnamed publicly traded European mutual fund that emphasizes long-term, strategic investments took the largest position in the financing.
Irvine develops and sells products such as sensor readout circuits, miniature cameras, image capture systems and image processing devices.
