FULLERTON
The Community Services Department has installed rock-climbing walls at Ford and Chapman parks to give novice and expert climbers a chance to practice their skills.
The walls, called Boldr, are designed for climbers 5 years and older. Safety harnesses and formal instruction are not required because the walls are built at a graduated height from 5 to 9 feet, close to the size of standard playground equipment.
The walls are in the playground areas of Ford Park, at the intersection of Wilshire and Richman avenues, and Chapman Park, 2515 San Carlos Drive. Information: (714) 738-6575.
