Extremely high tides are expected today through Wednesday, according to San Clemente lifeguards. In the past, high tides have resulted in damage to the Marine Safety Headquarters building and caused severe beach erosion. Tides are expected to be in the 7-foot range, topping out Monday at 7 1/2 feet. Information: (949) 361-8219.
