The City Council on Tuesday will reconsider a controversial proposal to revitalize the Jeffrey-Lynne neighborhood. Last month, council members postponed a vote on the proposed $54.3-million project after hearing nearly three hours of public protest; much of the criticism centered on a plan to demolish a group of one-bedroom apartments to make way for a greenbelt with a community center in the heart of the neighborhood. The council meets at 5 p.m. in chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
