Guatemala, Printrak Sign $1.2-Million Deal
Printrak International Inc. said Wednesday it has received a $1.2-million contract from the Guatemalan government to provide its automated fingerprint identification system to authenticate passports and other identification documents.
Anaheim-based Printrak said it will provide identification system terminals in Guatemala and the U.S. under the five-year contract.
The system allows travelers who lose their passport to verify their identity by using the fingerprint-matching system.
Printrak develops identification and information systems.
