SAN CLEMENTE
The City Council recently approved an agreement with the county to create a Talega Joint Planning Authority. The group will oversee planning, issue building permits and facilitate the annexation of the county portion of the Talega residential development to the city. The formation of the authority will allow the sale of homes in the unincorporated areas, providing necessary funds for annexation costs. The authority will consist of three council members and two county supervisors, and will dissolve once the entire development is within city boundaries. Information: (949) 361-8200.
