A community reception for new Santa Ana College President Rita Cepeda will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday. The reception will precede the regularly scheduled board of trustees meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. Cepeda officially took over as college president July 1 after serving for 18 years in the California Community Colleges chancellor’s office, most recently as vice chancellor for educational services and economic development. The reception will be in the boardroom of the Rancho Santiago Community College District Operations Office, 2323 N. Broadway.
