La Habra City School District has hired Sheryl S. Tecker as assistant principal of Washington Middle School. Tecker comes to the district from Sonora High in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, where she had served as vice principal since last year. Tecker started in the Fullerton district as a teacher in 1996. She will begin her new position in August.
