QLogic Corp. Shares Continue to Increase

QLogic Corp. shares continued to move up Monday in the wake of a bullish quarterly financial report last week.
The stock climbed $9.19 a share, or 6.3%, to $156.69. At one point during the session, the shares hit $158. The shares have gained 12% in the last two trading sessions.
The Costa Mesa maker of chips that connect disk drives and accessories to computers on Thursday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of 60 cents a share, beating the 49-cent average estimate of analysts surveyed by First Call.
