Thomas Nightingale president and chief executive to succeed James Munn, who was ousted in March by the company’s board. At the time, the company said Pacer needed “a fresh approach and new leadership” to allow it “to more fully realize its potential in the marketplace and deliver appropriate shareholder value.”

Pacer Technology stock has been trading around $1 and has lost 24% of its value this year. Nightingale, who held various management positions at Pacer over the last 21 years, had been serving as interim CEO since Munn’s ouster.

Pacer also announced that Roger Vanderlaan was appointed chief operating officer. Vanderlaan joined Pacer in March and was instrumental in the company’s management reorganization after Munn’s departure. He previously was operations manager of Sherwin Williams Co.
