Peat Marwick Hired as Procom Auditor

Santa Ana-based Procom Technology said Wednesday that it has hired Peat Marwick KPMG as its independent auditor to replace Arthur Andersen & Co., which resigned abruptly last month.

Andersen, which had been the auditor for the data storage technology developer for three years, said it was resigning after an analysis of Andersen’s clients.

Procom said at the time that there had been no unresolved disagreements regarding accounting procedures or financial disclosures.
