Athletes over 50 years old who want to compete in the second annual Orange County Senior Games must register before this Monday to avoid paying a late fee.

Leisure World will host the ballroom dancing, shuffleboard and table tennis competitions. Fifteen other events, including badminton, volleyball and swimming, will be held in Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel and other Orange County locations from Aug. 14 to 22.

The cost of registration is $20 until July 26. Late entries will be charged an additional $10. Competitors also must pay an entry fee for each event. To register, or for a schedule of events, call (949) 499-7202.
