Hanmi Bank Executive Moves to Wilshire State as President and CEO
* Wilshire State Bank of Los Angeles named Soo Bong Min president and chief executive, effective immediately. In addition, Joel Ziskind was named vice chairman and chief operating officer.
Before joining Wilshire State Bank, Min served as president and CEO of Los Angeles-based Hanmi Bank since 1995. Under Min’s leadership, Hanmi experienced rapid growth, with assets, loans and deposits each increasing 18% and net income growing 20% during his tenure.
Wilshire State Bank has five full-service offices in Southern California, in Koreatown and downtown Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and Cerritos. The bank also operates four primarily Small Business Administration lending offices in San Jose, Seattle, Chicago and Dallas.
* Computer Sciences Corp. of El Segundo has named Madeline Hanewinckel vice president of commercial systems integration and industry solutions for its Consulting Group division. She will be responsible for managing the consulting group’s five regional offices. Previously, Hanewinckel served as vice president and Northeast regional manager for the group.
* Pinkerton’s Inc., a global security firm based in Westlake Village, has promoted Len Ford to vice president of sales and marketing for its U.S. Security division. He will be responsible for developing objectives, policies and programs for the division, which is the company’s largest. He previously served as vice president of Western sales operations.
