LAGUNA BEACH
The City Council on Tuesday selected Laura McQueen to serve as the new city treasurer. She succeeds recently retired treasurer Susan A. Morse, who served in the position for 17 years.
McQueen, a certified public accountant, has served as financial controller for several Orange County businesses, including the Restaurant Enterprises Group for nine years. She has lived in Laguna Niguel since 1994 with her husband and two daughters. Information: (949) 497-0750.
