Datum Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of time and frequency products reported net income for the second quarter rose to $222,000, or 4 cents a share, from $43,000, or 1 cent a share, for the second quarter of 1998. Revenue declined 5% to $24.8 million from $26.2 million.
