Price of Retail Gas Rises in California, U.S.
The average price of a gallon of regular self-serve gasoline in California rose an average of 1.5 cents a gallon last week, to $1.478, up from $1.463 the previous week, the U.S. Department of Energy said. The price in California was higher than the U.S. average of $1.193 a gallon, the agency said.
