Wilshire Dividers

I would like to thank the city of Los Angeles for the job it did on the new center islands on Wilshire Boulevard west of the 405. The new curbs are perfect and the paved center looks as though it will last for years.

I sincerely hope that no one from my original hometown of Chicago comes to visit and sees them. Chicago actually fills in the center with flowers instead of asphalt. Imagine how jealous they will be when they see how much easier the pavement is to keep up than those big, colorful plants.
