Original drawings by what legendary musician now adorn a Carter's line of children's apparel?
John Lennon. The John Lennon-Carter's Real Love Collection features whimsical images created by the late Beatle to teach his son Sean to read.
Lennon was the original "Mr. Mom"--taking daily care of his young son and amusing the boy with the fanciful drawings that decorate Carter's fall line of layette, play clothes and sleepwear. The characters include an array of zoo animals and a caricature of Lennon himself.
This is the first time Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, has allowed the drawings to be commercially licensed. The line will be available at Robinsons-May stores.
