STANTON
The Planning Commission will host a public workshop Wednesday on its amended “nonconforming uses and structures” code, which highlights the city’s business-friendly philosophy, said Jim Basham of Development Services. Last month, the commission granted a conditional use permit for a site more than 30 years old on Monroe Avenue and allowed for a series of code exemptions. The workshop is at 6:30 p.m. in City Council chambers, 7800 Katella Ave. Information: (714) 379-9222, Ext. 210.
