Looking for a Few Good Wannabe Homeowners

Share

Buying a home can be an emotional roller-coaster ride, which is why Pie Town Productions wants to be there to document it. The Los Angeles production team is looking for prospective home buyers to profile on “House Hunters,” a cable television show that will debut in September on Home and Garden Television.

Filmed documentary style, segments will spotlight couples, singles and single parents--both traditional and nontraditional. Anyone, says a Pie Town spokesperson, with unique housing needs: a chef looking for a house with a gourmet kitchen, for example, or a swimmer needing an Olympic-sized pool.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a first-timer or buying for the 11th time. More than anything, Pie Town is looking to expand viewers’ thoughts about what a “home” is--and who is buying that home. It’s not always a mother, a father, two kids and a dog looking for a house with a white picket fence.
