The City Council on Tuesday looked at the proposed $13-million operating budget for 1999-2000. The budget shows a 6.12% increase in spending, a reflection of the increased revenue from sales taxes and other sources. Included in the budget is $1.3 million for widening Camino Capistrano. A public hearing is scheduled for June 15 with a final vote scheduled for July 6. The budget is available for review at City Hall, 32400 Paseo Adelanto. Information: (949) 493-1171.
