A bookstore-art gallery owner, two civic leaders, an elementary school principal and two public safety agencies have been named recipients of the 1999 Rancho Santiago Community College District’s Partners in Education awards. The awards were presented to Rueben Martinez, Miguel Pulido, Carolyn Reichert, Catherine Standiford, the Orange County Fire Chiefs’ Assn. and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department during the second annual Chancellor’s Ball last month.
