Island Pacific Bought by La Jolla Company

SVI Holdings Inc. said Monday it has acquired Irvine retail software company Island Pacific Systems Corp. Terms weren’t disclosed.
SVI Holdings said privately held Island Pacific Systems employs 130 people and had 1998 revenue of about $17 million. La Jolla-based SVI acquires and develops companies in the information technology industry.
