ORANGE
The Planning Commission gave conditional approval to the return of a weekend and holiday swap meet at the Orange Drive-In on North State College Boulevard. According to city planning manager Vern Jones, the commission limited the swap meet’s hours from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and required noise and dust management and trash cleanup programs as well as some parking limitations. According to Jones, the commission will conduct a review every six months to ensure compliance. The swap meet’s reopening is at least several months away.
