Residents will have to continue awaiting final word on the proposed Plaza Lafayette employee parking lot that would be located in a vacant portion of an abandoned railroad right-of-way. The City Council on Monday postponed action since Jack Stanaland, the property owner, could not agree to the city’s conditions for approval. One of the conditions is the installation of a gate that would allow for future access to a multipurpose trail. The council is scheduled to revisit the issue July 6.
