VILLA PARK

The Villa Park Women’s League recently raised $15,500 from its annual Garden Tour for student scholarships and other area organizations. High school seniors and Villa Park residents Erin Journigan of Villa Park High School, Joann Nguyen of Troy High School and Edward Farrell of Servite High School received $1,000 each. Selections were based on scholarship, leadership and service. Other funds raised went to area schools, the Villa Park Library and Working Wardrobes, which provides clothing for women reentering the work force.
