Women in Technology International unveiled a Web site targeting women at its annual conference last week in Santa Clara, Calif. The site, https://www.witi.com, will be operated by the for-profit arm of WITI that organizes the association’s three annual conferences. It will feature news and other information geared to women who use technology at work and who hold jobs in the technology industry, said Karan K. Eriksson, chief executive of Folsom, Calif.-based WITI. It will also incorporate content from the WITI foundation’s “.org” site. WITI plans to announce a series of content partners and e-commerce opportunities for the site, which is designed to compete with broader women’s sites such as IVillage.com and Women.com, later this year.
