Yugoslav Troops Receive Praise
The commander of the national army’s Pristina Corps praised his troops for heroic achievements in defending the country and defeating “separatist-terrorist” forces in Kosovo.
“[The Pristina Corps] had to simultaneously rout the [Kosovo Albanian] separatist-terrorist forces, protect its military hardware and defend every inch of our country,” Maj. Gen. Vladimir Lazarevic said Sunday.
“The corps has accomplished all these tasks very decisively, successfully, militarily brilliantly and heroically. Our country is indebted to the heroes of the Pristina Corps and the entire Yugoslav army.”
