at Orlando, 4:30 PST

* Site--Orlando Arena.

* Records--Sparks, 2-0; Miracle, 0-2.

* Update--The Lisa Leslie show plays in Orlando tonight, fresh off rave reviews in Los Angeles and Cleveland, where she powered the Sparks (2-0) to one-sided victories. Leslie had 19 points in 28 minutes in the opener, a 100-78 victory over Sacramento, and 30 points and 18 rebounds in 32 minutes in a 75-59 rout at Cleveland on Saturday. The Miracle--with no player bigger than 6 foot 2--was to rely heavily on former Connecticut All-American Nykesha Sales. But so far she has struggled in losses to Minnesota and Houston. She is shooting 31% and has had 10 turnovers. Turns out the Miracle’s first three ABL players (it has five) are leading the team in scoring--Sheri Sam (14.5 points a game), Taj McWilliams (13.0) and Shannon Johnson (11.0). The Miracle will be looking up at the Sparks. Clarisse Machanguana (6-5), La’Keshia Frett (6-3) and DeLisha Milton (6-2) each got major minutes in their first two games. And at Cleveland, 6-6 Nina Bjedov had an impressive debut, with three-for-four shooting for six points in 15 minutes. Spark Coach Orlando Woolridge is delighted with the Yugoslavian’s versatile game and her speed. In full-court drills at practice Monday, she seemed as fleet afoot as any of the Sparks’ big players. Woolridge hopes for another big game off the bench by Mwadi Mabika. The 6-0 guard from Congo had three consecutive baskets in a 40-22 second half at Cleveland. She had 10 points in 22 minutes.
