Business-to-Business Markets at Caltech

The Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum plans to take up the issue of creating successful business-to-business marketplaces on the Internet at its next meeting Saturday at the Caltech campus in Pasadena. Among the issues to be discussed are how these markets can generate revenue and how these types of business transactions differ from the more widespread practice of using the Internet for retail sales. According to organizers of the event, the number of such business-to-business markets on the Internet is expected to grow significantly by the end of the year.
