The City Council recently renewed a one-year, $53,282 contract with Armorcast Products for polymer meter boxes for the water resources division of the Public Works Agency. The boxes are used to house, protect and provide access to meters and valves within the city’s water system. In 1996, the council awarded the contract for two years, with one-year renewal periods.
