Two Key Contributors

As the director of the Library of Congress’ exhibition office, I certainly appreciated Stanley Meisler’s lively and accurate description of the Charles and Ray Eames exhibition (“A Seat of Honor in American Design,” June 7).

However, the article did not mention the key role played by two Los Angeles-area designers without whom the exhibition would not be the success it is. Craig Hodgetts and Ming Fung were responsible for the exhibition’s design from the very beginning and brought to the conceptual development an understanding not only of the design process but a deep and clear appreciation of the work of the Eameses.
