Frederick’s of Hollywood, the racy lingerie company with 200 stores nationwide that is seeking to rework its image and expand its customer base, today will name Linda LoRe its president and chief executive after an extensive search. She replaces Teresa Patterson, who was abruptly fired by the company in March. Patterson has sued Frederick’s parent, FOH Holdings Inc., for wrongful termination.

LoRe spent 11 previous years at Giorgio Beverly Hills, a unit of Procter & Gamble, where she was responsible for launching and re-launching such fragrance brands as Hugo Boss and Red.

“With Linda’s guidance, vision and leadership, the company will be able to expand into new areas with tremendous success,” said FOH Chairman Dave Lipson.

LoRe has been on Frederick’s board of directors for more than a year and will remain a member.

During the last nine months, she has acted as a strategic marketing consultant to Frederick’s.
